Superior Tourist class hotel. All rooms of this hotel are efficient and decorated with good taste. Wall Paper and fabrics are all in Pastel shades. he breakfast room is inviting and the views over the picturesque old roofs here in the heart of the city are unique. The most famous museums containing renewed works of art are only a few steps away. During the period when Florence was the capital of Italy many changes were carried out, mainly by Guiseppe Poeei, to adapt the city to it;s new role. This was when via De Calzaivoli was widened and staightened and this is why the building is a 19th century facade although concealed inside are the remains of a medieval tower (there is for example a little gothic window).
